Job Description

Digital marketingCreate, edit and disseminate content across all our websites/media propertiesCreate and execute inbound and outbound digital marketing strategies aligned with brand and business objectives. Develop, agree and track key KPIs for digital initiatives.Manage, optimize and scale the digital marketing activities, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), affiliate marketing, social media advertising etc (display advertising, and retargeting campaigns) to drive traffic and conversion rates.Work closely with internal as well as external designers, web developers (both freelancers and agencies/vendors) to enhance the use of digital properties, such as website and in-house applications, to support the business goals and improve user experience and digital presence.Perform website audits to identify critical errors in SEO and optimize user experience to continuously generate visitor conversions.Analyze campaigns, identify trends and provide fast, accurate reports in order to optimize campaigns, website content and creative assets to produce better results. Develop and execute plans to increase page views, unique visitors, and dwell time and site stickiness to encourage repeat usage.Manage the overall health of the website, as a webmaster. Work closely with the management and developers to add new features and initiate steps to optimize web functionality, landing pages, ads, blogs, user interface, and navigationOwn and manage email marketing programs, including process ownership and optimization, lead database hygiene, campaign implementation, and reporting, with the goal of driving more marketing qualified leads.Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, social, and other inbound and outbound channelsManage the lead database to improve global marketing and targeting capabilities through data set cleansing, standardization and expansionCollaborate with sales and product team to understand their needs and support their lead generation campaignsCollaborate with event agencies to leverage the www.bigdata-madesimple.com website and build a network / sponsorship opportunities.Content marketingCollaborate with writers, thought leaders, experts and content partners to create and publish articles on Crayons big data and AI content portal Big Data Made Simple.Create strategies to improve content and website traffic.Collaborate with partners, advertisers and event organizersPlan and execute all SEO, Email, Social Media and AdWords campaignsResearch and interviewing skillsPrior experience in writing/editing articles such as blog posts.Plan, create and launch eBooks, case studies, webinars on a regular basisMeasure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals.Identify trends and insights, and optimize performance based on the insights.Reporting & analytics:Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how inbound and outbound marketing activity turn into customers, and continually refine the process.Responsibility for budgetary planning and control of digital marketingIdentify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on insightsEvaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspectives for adoption where appropriateRequirementsOver 6 years of demonstrable experience in digital marketing, managing SEO / SEM, PPC, marketing database, email, social media and/or advertising campaignsStrong analytical and communication skillsExperience in writing / rewriting, editing, interviewing, communicating, curating / generating content and visualizing data with experience creating clear, concise and professional documentsExperience in utilizing email and marketing automation tools to optimize the overall marketing funnel to deliver marketing-qualified leadsWorking knowledge of website analytics tools and experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaignsStrong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practicesStickler for deadlines.
