A requirement exists for a highly skilled development manager to work with the team and deliver projects that take the bank forward into a highly evolving and market leading approach for Global Banking.As the Bank is transforming to Agile, and the velocity of change from our Business increases, we are looking for a Technical Manager/scrum master to work closely with our business partners and Technology teams to align our existing platforms and processes.Candidates should have a strong background on Design, Agile development centred around Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD), with strong working experience in a DevOps and Agile teams is a must.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development team and manage project stakeholders.Engage with Technology Architects to understand the enterprise and drive the workbench platforms strategic and sustainable approach while meeting business needs.Engage with Business to understand user journeys prioritised for development.Deliver user stories in the form of use cases, designs, models, requirements into software delivery sprints.Participate in Agile ceremony for product development.Responsible for design and implementation of solutions via continuous integration, Code review, automated testing, configuration management and release management.Champion Design and delivery across DevOps innovations by introducing better tools and agile practices.Preferred Candidate Profile: Ideal candidate must have proven credentials of delivering in world class engineering teams. With a bachelor s degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position.Must be a confident self-starter with ability to collaborate and devise solutions.Relevant industry certifications are an added plus. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks is required.Preferred competencies: Understanding of Microservice deployment architecture and JBOS FuseUnderstanding of leading UI framework like EmberJS, React JS etc.Core Competencies: a. Strongly Desired competencies: 12+ years of technical delivery experience.Strong knowledge in domain-driven design, design patterns and enterprise integration patterns.Strong experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)Strong experience in agile methodologies and test-driven development.Experience with enterprise scale systems & excellent Data Design skillsPractical experience in solution development using open source technologies.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Excellent concept communication skills.Evidence of pragmatic solution designMust be hands-on software design & development and DevOps.Work as part of the wider Architecture Team & contribute autonomously where requiredb. Non-technical SkillsProven ability to work within a team environment.Highly effective verbal and written English communication skills.Ability to make good / sound decisions and use independent judgement.Strong reasoning, analytical and inter-personal skills.Excellent attention to detail and time management.Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologiesGood track record of communicating effectively with both business and IT staff at all levels.Experience in promoting DevOps culture among developers and testers.Good presentation skills.,
