Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Knowledge on Component Level testing and instrumentation
  • Deep knowledge on Servo Hydraulic system and controller operation along with working knowledge on simulation software like MTS RPC Pro, IST TWR
  • Responsible for developing the Test Fixture according to vehilce boundary conditions using any CAD software
  • Responsible for testing the part as per test requirement and releasing the report on time with all relevent observations.
  • Responsible for Strain gauging the component and measuring the strain using data acquision system and conducting the basic pre processing of data using nCode software
  • Responsible for instrumenting the test sample with in the lab and in the vehicle and acquiring the data.
  • Responsible for participating in DFMEA session and providing the testing inputs to the design team and providing the testing requirement to project team as a testing CFT.
  • Responsible for supporting the lab management system.
  • Effective Communication with the COEs and within the team
  • Should be able to work as individual contributor and self motivator
Qualifications
  • BE/B Tech Mechanical Engineering
  • BE/B Tech Automobile engineering
General Requirements
  • Proven track record of execution of servo hydraulic testing
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
  • Experience in the automotive field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage
  • Knowledge in Windows, MS Office
  • Good knowledge of SW-Version-Tools like MTS RPC Pro, IST TWR
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge in overall vehicle systems
  • Strong Automotive domain knowledge Suspension systems / Drive away chassis
  • Must: Good knowledge of Automotive testing
  • Must: Work experience using servo hydraulic system and controllers
  • Must: Good Work experience in fixture development
  • Must: Good work experience in Strain gauging and instrumentation
  • Must: Knowledge in overall vehicle systems and its fuctional knowledge
