Wealth Management Investment Solution Hub (WMIS Hub) provides a global IT solution for BNP Paribas Wealth Management where we develop, maintain and evolve IT applications which fits to the specific needs of BNP Paribas Wealth Management business users.Job Title:Business analystDate:27 October 2020Department:Products DivisionLocation:ChennaiBusiness Line / Function:Wealth Management / WMIS HubReports to: (Direct) NAGrade: (if applicable) (Functional) Number of Direct Reports:n/aDirectorship / Registration:NAPosition PurposeWMIS Products division in Chennai is responsible for project delivery and application support for all Product Knowledge.Products division is looking for a Business analyst to join the team in Chennai to work primarily on Product Knowledge Squads.Project delivery will include projects in product knowledge and distribution solutions for Equity, Funds and Bonds along with the integration of WM systems and different market providers for all sites including Switzerland and Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong) Wealth management team.All the applications in Product Knowledge are in house development of BNP Paribas running on Java/J2EE, API, Oracle DB, PL/SQL objects, Oracle ADF UI. Responsibilities Direct ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will work within our Product Knowledge Squad and will be involved in Business Analysis around Product Knowledge applications.Gather the requirements from the Product Owner and end users Write user stories and confirm the understanding with the developers. Wri te function specifications and ensure proper documentation of requirements, process mapping and workflow diagramming. Document business rules, feasibility studies, and impact analysis Perform system analysis with the BA of other applications squads when involved in multi-systems features and interfaces. Coordinate with multiple Technical teams, Infrastructure and testing teams to deliver the projects Assist to prepare technical deliveries and support implementation by integration teams. Work with developers on system development and unit testing. Work with the testing team to conduct system integration testing to ensure quality of delivery. Support UAT (reproduce issues, monitoring, fixing with the team) As BNP Paribas Employee :Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines Technical & Behavioral Competencies Experience:

• Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of overall experience as Business Analyst
• 5+ years in banking industry

Mandatory skills

• General banking knowledge and work experience in banking industry
• Experience with Market Data feeds related to Product ratings is mandatory
• Highly analytical, able to investigate, troubleshoot and determine issues at root cause
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage with end users and stakeholders at various levels
• Good understanding of project lifecycle and experience in functional and technical specification
• Good understanding and previous exposure to instrument referential systems
• Minimum 7 years of related working experience in banking and finance IT

Specific Qualifications (if required)

• Office suite
• XML (swagger) experience
• DB queries is a strong plus
