Job Description

    The Shipping Supervisor is the primary leader for shipping employees, ensuring that finishedgoods are retrieved from production, stored, and loaded for outbound shipments. Otherresponsibilities include managing inventory of finished goods as well as packaging supplies, andsupporting other business functions as required.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership and supervision of shipping employees across all 3 shifts, includingscheduling and time card approval. Ensure shipping employees perform job responsibilities correctly and safely, with afocus on scanning accuracy. Ensure all shipping documents are created and maintained accurately. This includesBOLs, Hold tags and associated documents. Perform inventory cycle counts in the Finished Goods Cooler and Packaging Warehouse.Correct and follow-up on any inventory discrepancies in these areas. Maintain Wisysinventory accuracy above 98% for both Finished Goods and Packaging Materials. Ownership of Finished Goods inventory, ensuring that product is shipped properly andHold product is handled according to guidelines and disposition. Provide product for employees in front chiller. Develop improvement plans to increase efficiency in the shipping operation. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in the Shipping and Dock Bareas. Perform shipping functions as needed, including driving a forklift. Ensure and promote compliance to company safety guidelines as well as policies andprocedures. Performs other duties as required
