Job Description

    Supervise and coordinate the activities of ground crew in the loading, unloading, securing, and staging of aircraft cargo or baggage. May determine the quantity and orientation of cargo and compute aircraft center of gravity.The Cargo Officer ensures that cargo shipments are handled and stored according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and handling requirements. He/She prepares all cargo documentations and performs stock control and housekeeping operations. He/She ensures shipments are arranged according to cargo plansThere are two types of air cargo general and special cargo. General cargo includes high-value goods, such as electronics, jewellery and pharmaceuticals.Cargo Operations means activities relating to cargo and passengers and shall include, but not be limited to, coordination of stevedores and terminal operators, reporting cargo to relevant customs authorities and documentation.Job DescriptionAir Cargo Management Executive is someone who coordinates and facilitates, expedite and route movement of incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments in airlines/Cargo agencies. They typically work in warehouses, stockrooms, or shipping and receiving stations.The Supervisor (Baggage Services) ensures that baggage handling operations follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and are able to meet established standards. He/She resolves issues on operations during baggage handling and ensures baggages are dispatched timely.
