Job description : Role & Responsibilities: Collaborate Closely with Data Scientists and Business Analysts / City Head to understand data and functional requirements. Design and Build data pipelines to standardise, clean and ingest data. Learn, adapt and implement new technologies to improve data ecosystem and overall data health. What is needed: Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development. Were looking for someone with 3-9 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models has a Masters or PHD in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or another quantitative field and is familiar with the following software or tools: Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: C / C++/ Java Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM or Regression Random Forest Boosting Trees text mining social network analysis etc. Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R SAS Python SQL etc.What is good to have : Working experience on Cloud Environment preferably AWS. Working Experience in Agile environment. Exposure to notebook tools like Jupyter and Zeppelin Working Experience on reporting and dashboard tools. Background Advanced Degree or equivalent experience with a focus in one or more areas involving Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Probability Modelling, Machine Learning, Algorithm Design, Computational Finance, or Bioinformatics Background in mobile or e-commerce data is a plus.
