Job Description

You will be working as Technical Training Manager and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area for Service & Digital Platform Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Service Manager and will be responsible to handle Robotics training function, take it to ABB global level and convert it into a sustainable business in India. Managing infrastructure for training in Bangalore & Other locations. Your responsibilities

  • Developing training quality, training infrastructure and training material
  • Coordinating with global for standardization of training material and developing training material and curriculum as per global directions
  • Aligning with FS team for getting support of Engineers for giving training and fulfilling training requirements of sales, customers and service team
  • Identifying competency gaps in service team and arrange trainings to fill that gap and re-evaluating
  • Marketing of training function and developing that business to next level
  • Meeting training business monthly & yearly targets and making training function technically & commercially successful
  • Supporting other teams in maintaining the demo cells and Customer Exp center (CEC)
Your background
  • Bachelors or masters degree with technical background
  • Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in the robotics industry
  • Experience in teaching, coordinating and technical sales is preferred
  • Skills such as collaborative and innovative thinking is an added advantage
  • Ability to do marketing of training function
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willing and flexible to travel and meet customers
