Key skills : -- C# / .Net -- Python -- SQL -- Javascript / Typescript -- CI / CD -- Devops -- AWS Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, implement, test, debug, and maintain web applications and cloud services. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with the larger data and analytics platform. Create and maintain cloud services and web applications written in C#, Python, JavaScript, and SQL. Follow development standards and practices, including maintaining source code repositories, updating issue trackers, participating in code reviews, and performing through testing. Work with the engineering team to define system architecture and to recommend enhancements and updates to product management. Create documentation, diagrams, flowcharts, and models to communicate details of software architecture and design. Train end users on how to use the platform and software applications. Act as a technical leader. Mentor and provide guidance to other engineers.MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:4-6 years of practical experience in software development, including designing, building, debugging, unit testing, deploying, and maintaining web applications and cloud services. Strong technical proficiency in C#, Python, and SQL. JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency also highly desired. Hands-on experience in building production-ready, large scale SaaS systems in C#/.NET and Python. Knowledge of MVC design patterns and OOP to build modular C# software components. Experience converting designs from UI/UX teams into responsive JavaScript client applications (SPA) using VueJS or similar libraries. Experience implementing data visualizations using JavaScript libraries like D3 or ECharts highly desired. Familiarity with data science, big data, machine learning, or analytic applications highly desired. Hands-on experience in interfacing with SQL relational databases and data warehouses via APIs. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices. Proficiency with Linux, Docker, and public cloud services such as AWS. Expertise with modern software engineering processes and best practices including code reviews, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing. In-depth knowledge of software life cycle methodologies. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience providing technical leadership to other engineers. Self-motivation and ability to work effectively in both small and large groups.
