Job Location : Bangalore Exp : 4-8 Yrs Transport Engineering Required Skillset: TDM, IP, Ethernet, and SONET design and deployment. Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF)-based service design and implementation UNI, EVC, ENNI, INNI, and circuit deployment. CWDM/DWDM, ROADM, Switching, and Packet-Optical system design and deployment. Circuit analysis, design, and implementation including updating and maintaining circuit inventories in the Appropriate systems/databases. Understand how to operationalize network designs in order to deploy builds. Must be familiar with basic telephony record-keeping principals and methodologies. Preferred knowledge in Coriant/Infinera, Ciena, CISCO, Juniper, and Fujitsu Description of Work Performed After receiving a Planning package, perform detailed engineering designed to expand or maintain the capacity Of network - ROADM nodes, edge switches, aggregation devices, MPLS network, packet optical network, and connections to our CORE and CAR devices - by deploying new technology as wellas by upgrading existing network elements. This includes, but is not limited to, projects designed to place ENNI and INNI Network Interface Devices (NIDs), CWDM and DWDM/ROADM network elements, switch placements, ROADM node placements, router placements, equipment plug-ins and SFPs, and any related ancillary equipment. This work includes creating all related packages sent to downstream teams who manage material ordering, construction,installation, and provisioning. Tools Exposure M6: Circuit Provisioning and Inventory System DPI: Customer circuit/service inventorying system Varasset: Project implementation system for downstream build teams Infinium: detailed project creation system used to create and maintain material orders, asset tracking, labor hours, provisioning instructions, and corporate capital/expense tracking FROGS: OSP GIS-based record-keeping platform NMARS: Circuit and network element capacity tracking/reporting system Vendor EMS systems Various Microsoft Databases (IOF fiber databases, etc.) Various Sharepoints (Network Architecture standards, etc.) Microsft Suite of applications Business Decision Tool (BDT): Pricing Request tool ,
