Job Description

Responsible ToAdministratively & Functionally : CEO Shipping Job Involves The Following Linkages : Within the Organisation :

  • All branches of Allcargo
Outside the Organisation (if any) :
  • Customers, Vendors, Clients and suppliers.
Key Areas: Key result areas shall include the following:
  1. To monitor the performance of the vessels and Consumption of Fuel Oil , Lub Oil and Fresh water on the daily basis and raising the request for Proper bunkering at convenient ports.
  2. To Monitor the Maintenance on the vessels through reports, periodic inspection, raising deficiencies and operational difficulties as faced by the ship staff.
  3. To assist the vessels crew and liaise with the shore authorities in terms of repairs and assistance.
  4. To prepare a vessel inspection report and give assessment to the manager for his review highlighting the key issues.
  5. To ensure the vessels are in compliance with all the certificates and the statutory compliances as necessary.
  6. To Monitor the PMS of all the Machinery and equipment on the vessel.
  7. To monitor and plan the supplies of spares and stores as per PMS and Budget allocated for the vessel.
  8. To plan for the up gradation work for the vessels.
  9. To brief the on joiner about the different policies of the company policies Highlight the specific details and defect list of the vessel.
  10. Prepare for Dry docking of the vessels.
  11. Attend to docking of the vessels as required.
  12. To assist in carry out class and other surveys as required.
  13. To attend to various repair jobs for vessels as necessary.
