Job Description

Fluke IDC Technical Manager (Microsoft Full Stack - .NET, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server) We are looking for a technical manager with experience in developing and managing multiple scrum teams to deliver Desktop and Web Application using Microsoft Full Stack (.NET, C#), Web (ASP.NET, Web API, Web forms, MVC) and SQL Server in Agile (Scrum) development environment. In this role, you are expected to work with teams of highly skilled software engineers and pave way for building the front-end UI, backend API and integrations for our flagship platform. The role is also expected to manage the timely completion of specific, defined multi discipline technical or engineering programs or projects of greater than average complexity and scope. Uses specific knowledge about one or more areas of technical/engineering expertise to research, plan, communicate and achieve objectives through the team. Responsibilities: 1. Manage project milestones & schedules in Agile development environment working with the larger global team.2. Hands-On technical line Management for multiple teams of talented web and desktop developers in matrix structure.3. Interface with various product groups across the world and drive adherence to organization KPI in an agile development environment. Collaborate with cross functionals teams e.g. PDM, UX, Ops.4. Coordinate, monitor, communicate and resolve issues related to the Agile project management process 5. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. 6. Prepare documentation required for the various phases of the project and present project status to management.7. Rapidly prototype features and new concepts. Work with support teams to test and deploy applications in CI/CD environment. Design and implement reusable frameworks and libraries.8. Oversees the team as they plan Domain specific requirements, track and execute project plans from start to completion.9. Acting as project team leader, reviews user and/or technical requirements, identifies tasks, assigns and coordinates resources and creates/tracks project schedules.10. Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery.11. Recommends changes to improve the engineering process and to alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication.12. Ensure that schedule and performance objectives are achieved.13. Ensures clear communication and timely resolution of issues.14. Resolve problems and support team members.Skills Requirements10-12 years of Total Experience developing Desktop and Web Applications with project & team management/leadership experience in agile development environment.2+ Years of Technical Management experience supervising and directing a team of desktop & web developers/ QA Personnel.Ability to create highly engaged and performing teams.2+ Years of Scrum Master/Agile Project Management experience planning and executing multi geography desktop & web projectsExceptional written, verbal, technical and interpersonal communications skills.Demonstrable depth of experience in communicating with internal groups, including UX, Product Management and Operations.Proven ownership and delivery of a sizable product or product component, strong sense of independence and self-direction is essential.Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.Availability for travel and flexible work hours to work with teams across time zones.Technical Competencies Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science or related field.10-12 years of experience developing Desktop (.NET, C#) and Web Applications (ASP.NET) and test infrastructures, writing documentation and following an agile development methodology such as Scrum.Exposure to cloud technologies and best practices around CI/CD implementations. Experience with scripting, tool development and automation.Experience working with large code bases, writing entirely new code and maintain and update existing code.Extensive experience in using various architecture, frameworks and design patterns in designing/refactoring highly optimized web applications is a must.Extensive experience developing secure web applications using web services APIs such as JSON, REST.
