Job ID: JR0146317Job Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireSystem Integration & Validation Engineer (DnT)Job Description Designate will be responsible for owning and delivering validation strategy mapped to product requirements, test plan and content, validation & debug and driving innovative solutions and efficiencies for System Debug and Trace capabilities The person will be responsible for driving quality on the assigned feature set across Intel Client platforms owning review of functional requirements and development or enhancement of validation test strategy and test plan and content, overseeing validation of in flight and debugging issues to triage/debug and disposition to relevant HW/FW/SW components. The person is required to work with partner teams and program stakeholders to meet validation requirements and criteria to milestones. The person will also own driving innovation to improve methodologies, strengthen coverage and drive efficiencies in the domain. Experienced Leads will be required to demonstrate leadership abilities to build technical expertise within the org and drive collaboration with partners. Hands-on experience working with Windows OS development/Debug or enabling and validating / debugging system software/firmware . Candidate is expected to be familiar with high level knowledge across HW IP, firmware, windows drivers, framework and application as well. Good experience in windows based platform debugging skills is strongly desired, including board-level debug of board/HW interfaces. Candidate should also have experience in dealing with stake holders across domain architects, domain engineering team leads for integration/validation/triage and debug. The person should be familiar with SW project life cycle, with ability to work from requirements phase to releases meeting pre-defined quality criteria.Qualifications BS/MS in computer science or electronics engineering, with 3-7 years of industry experience in System Software/Silicon Validation (Windows System Validation preferably). Candidate should have good understanding of Hardware and firmware. Preferred to have prior knowledge of using test equipments like O-scope, LA, JTAG etc Preferred to have prior working experience on micro controllers like 8051, MSP etc Prior experience on writing low lower FWs like I2C, UART would be an added advantage Strong technical back-ground with hands-on experience in Windows OS Validation and Debug Strong oral and written communication skills with prior experience in stakeholder management across architecture, ingredient development/validation and program management Highly proactive and independent in owning and driving technical resolutions in the areas of graphics integration and validation.Inside this Business GroupThe Client Computing Group is responsible for all aspects of the client computing business across Phone, Phablet, Tablet and PC platforms, leading Intels efforts to transform client computing through technologies, new form factors, and driving Intels corporate-wide user experience initiatives.
