We are looking for a System Architect who is well- versed in defining software architectures for highly scalable distributed systems. Required skill set & qualities Proven experience in architecting systems built on Java/ J2EE and its eco system Hands- on experience with multiple technologies Strong OO design skills in Java Experience in working on distributed systems Expertise on the following will be added advantage: Android SDK, IOS Phone Gap and other frameworks Location- based services development & Google Map API Web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) Performance engineering skills. Self- starter, who is able to collaborate actively with others in a cross- functional team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Being a system architect for the engineering team. Being involved across the entire development life cycle - concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, design, develop & test and realize products Working closely and incorporating feedback from users, marketing, product management and interaction designers Optimizing performance for the application Being a technical reference and mentor for the rest of the team Keeping up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies EXPERIENCE Minimum experience of 5yrs Expertise in Transportation/ Travel domain will be an added advantage.,
