You will be working in the Bangalore LED Electronics R&D development team alongside other software engineers on next generation lighting products, such as LED drivers and lighting control devices.You will work in a team, which is responsible for the standardization of Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) and the certification of Signify products with these DALI interfaces.DALI is a lighting industry standard wired protocol, which is extensively used for managing and controlling indoor and outdoor lighting systems.You will work in a team with agile development methodologies and a continuous improvement mindset, in close collaboration with various teams around the globe.We re greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.We require a highly talented and motivated software test engineer that can work with the latest techniques.We re on the lookout for forward-thinking innovators with a passion for sustainability.   • You ll develop automated software tests in our in-house DALI test framework for new features orinterfaces and reducing test execution time
  • You ll execute automated and manual certification tests for LED drivers and lighting control devices
  • You ll analyze issues found during development or in the field and align on solutions with product development engineers
  • You ll learn, innovate and contribute in our development practices and processes
Your qualificationsWe are looking for an SW Test Engineer with a passion for software quality. Candidates with the following skills have a preference:
  • You ve got a bachelor/master s degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication
  • You ve more than 3 years of experience as SW Test Engineer
  • You ve experience in developing software with object-oriented software engineering techniques and languages (preferably C#)
  • You ve affinity with hardware and measurement equipment
  • You ve got the ambition to work with highly intelligent peers and business leaders in a vibrant, collaborative environment while developing the skills required to excel!
