We are developing next- generation routers and switches for Cloud Service Providers, Data Center and Enterprise Networks.For this we need highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer with proven track record in developing high- speed/ low- latency networking products in a fast paced start- up environment. The focus would be in Management Protocols and Security area.Responsibilities:Taking a leadership role in Federal Certifications, like FIPS 140- 2, Common Criteria, JITC, USGv6 of Extreme Switching and Routing products. Analyze requirements and derive solutions. Pro- actively own features from design to deployment. Review technical artifacts to meet industry standards. Participate in strategic and tactical product initiatives. Own and drive technical and functional improvements across products/ applications. Quickly troubleshoot complex issues and provide practical solutions to customers on time. Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 5 years of product development experience. Strong hands- on expertise in C, C , Linux. Knowledge of Python is a plus. In- depth experience in developing switching applications on multi- core, multi- threaded platforms. Extensive hands- on experience in designing and developing software related to Security. Prior experience in Federal Certification projects is a huge plus. Networking protocols like SCTP/ TCP/ IP, SSH, TLS/ SSL, IPsec, MACsec, PKI, OCSP, RADIUS, TACACS , SNMP. SCM tools like Git and Clearcase Required Soft Skills:Ability to understand the big picture and deployment scenarios for a product. Ability to quickly and accurately respond to requests from customers and partners. Pro- actively contribute to make the team successful. Excellent skills in verbal and written communication.,
