Job Description

We are looking for Application Engineers who are ready to take on the challenge, bring their expertise, experiment with new technologies and grow with us.JOB PURPOSE:

  • To build solutions on the OutSystems platform to address the growing business needs of International Operations region.
  • Perform Technical Analysis, Solution design, Coding and Unit Testing tasks for the application development projects in scope
Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesThe Applications developer will be part of the International Ops Regional Custom Applications team, part of the Schneider Digital s Enterprise IT organization. This position requires experience in web and mobile application development, with specific focus on following the platform guidelines and principles. This position requires ability to comprehend business requirements and develop as per defined software development standards.
  • Complete all tasks related to technical analysis, building and unit testing, system test and implementation in accordance with the IT development life cycle.
  • Analyze requirements, design, build and test system components or change requests.
  • Always conform to documentation, coding and quality standards as defined.
  • Review, discuss and work within agreed timescales and feedback to project managers any variances arising as tasks are performed.
  • Understand client business and make recommendations and technology suggestions to solve problems and improve efficiency.
  • Understand architecture of applications and propose robust design recommendations.
  • Prepare for and support user acceptance testing.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable support of the systems.
  • Effective Communication with internal and external customers, supervisors and management.
, Required Skills
  • 5+ years of Application development experience in one or more of the following technologies - C#, ASP.NET, MVC, PHP, Scripting, SQL 2012/2014 , MySQL, Oracle etc. required.
  • Detailed knowledge of Web Application Development standards, Security principles and Database design and implementation is required.
  • Proven ability to work on complex solutions, interfacing with large corporate systems required.
  • Rapid Application Development and Agile Development experience preferred.
  • Certification and familiarity with Outsystems a huge plus.
  • Experience with API development and implementation preferred
