Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager who is pre-wired to love understanding people, their problems, and is passionate about creating features that are simple and effective. You will own, drive and create world-class partner reporting and data capabilities.
  • Partners are a significant channel for acquiring new sellers to PayPal. The mission of the Partner Products team is to build the right set of products and features that enable partners and their sellers to seamlessly onboard, process and manage their payments with PayPal.
  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager who is pre-wired to love understanding people, their problems, and is passionate about creating features that are simple and effective. You will own, drive and create world-class partner reporting and data capabilities.
  • You are customer-centric, continuously demonstrate strategic & analytical abilities, and are laser focused on executing at scale. In this role, you will partner with diverse cross-functional teams to lead, execute, monitor, and deliver results for partners and sellers. You must have the ability to succeed in a matrix environment, where success is dependent on your ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners in a positive, productive, and transparent way.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Define the vision and strategy of how PayPal provides data to partners to manage and grow their merchant portfolio. Define insights and recommendations based on data patterns to increase merchant engagement with PayPal.
  • Translate the vision into a roadmap, author product requirements and lead an agile team of 6-8 members to build the reporting and insights capabilities.
  • Build relationships with the wide array of teams who own elements of the vision to share execution and create disciplined accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with regional teams and product managers to ensure that the product solution delivers against regional business objectives & partner needs.
  • Build trust and effective relationships with peers and provides leadership across the division, product, and/or partner ecosystem. Contribute and encourage a positive working environment despite constant change.
Required Skills:
  • Experienced as a global product manager with a track record of designing, building and launching products that customers love and have a real business impact.
  • Has 3-5 years of product management experience with data analytics or reporting.
  • Strong customer understanding skills, Data-driven mindset and ability to explore and structure customer insights.
  • Problem framing you can cut through the noise and focus on what really matters
  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to dive into details, unfazed by technology complexity.
  • Enjoys understanding complex logic and process of interconnected data flows throughout business work-stream
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the larger ecosystems, industry trends, & evolving customer needs.
  • Developed multi year visions for product aligned with business strategies. Have worked with one more large enterprises building highly scalable products.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to thrive in a matrix environment where success depends on a high degree of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player; ability to interface and build relations at all levels internally and externally.
  • 8+ years of overall industry experience. 5+ years as a product manager.
  • Bachelor s required, MBA or MS preferred.
  • Team player, sense of humor required
