Operators need Self Organizing Networks (SON) to ensure better operational efficiency, cost control and ensure high performance. SON enables operators to automate the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of modern large-scale. Nokia EdenNet is an industry leading centralized, multivendor, multi-technology SON solution. Its transformational SON technologies deliver excellent network performance, network reliability and operational efficiencies. Given the rapid market growth and number #1market position and a strong product strategy , the product management role in SON Business area offers infinite possibilities to learn and be part of very exciting and challenging growth phase to define and strengthen the leadership of Nokia in the expanding market spaceKey Responsibilities / Functions:Product release planning responsibility to ensure profitability and competitiveness of the SON product.

  • Release Product Manager to drive the overall release count, ensure readiness from ProdM deliverables towards the release, work across different PMT function responsibles to ensure necessary readiness to make the release available to World Market customers.
  • Screening and analyzing customer requests and its market potential
  • Preparing release strategy and input to product roadmaps considering profitability and competitiveness
  • Specifying feature requirements according to market and business drivers
  • closely working together with R&D teams to explain customer requirements and support the team during grooming and review sessions with requirement clarifications and feedback
  • Prioritizing features in own feature area and working closely with Systems engineering to drive Roadmap for own feature area
  • Preparing product and feature value argumentation and define pricing proposals
  • Responsibility for enabling sales on new releases and features
  • Preparing customer presentations
  • Participation in lead customer interaction and providing inputs for customer release planning
Required Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)12+ years of experience in the telecom industry- a Bachelor s degree or equivalent- Product Management experience- Ability and experience interfacing with customers.- Experience in working with customer/customer teams in a technical capacity to clarify requirements, present solutions- Experience in leading teams- Good understanding of Radio network technologies, GSM , UMTS, LTE, 5G;- Experience working in the SON domain would be an advantage- Strong understanding on Nokia CREATE process- Experience in working with Agile software management practices with experience in requirements gathering and translation to R&D teams is highly desirable;- Awareness of Nokia Create Process and ability to prepare C milestone proposals- Product Management experience of 3 or more yearsDesired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)Understanding of SON domain is preferredMaster s degree in managementCompetencies- proven track record working in cross-functional matrix organizations and in motivating and influencing teams (cross-functional, international)- high degree of independence, problem solving skills and creative mind in developing and applying new, innovative approaches- Business and result oriented- Excellent communication and presentation skills (English)- Networking skills and flexibility to adapt with different working styles- Creative and innovative- Flexibility to work in different timezones- Open for travel to customers- Assertive in internal and external communication- Make it happen attitude- Team playerImagine creating technology that has the potential to change the world.
