Job Description

The position is a part of the Origination Manager practice - Global Delivery Center which focuses on the integration of information, process and people through the application of Internet technologies such as Java/J2EE development, EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), Web Services and EII (Enterprise Information Integration). Our unique approach to delivering Enterprise Decision Management (EDM) solutions through the combined use of creative business strategies, innovative technologies, and advanced intelligence backbones offers our consultants the opportunity to transform business applications for our clients. The candidate is expected to handle large-scale consulting projects and should possess skills in the design, development, integration, and deployment of applications. Previous experience within Financial Services, Mortgage and/or Insurance is preferred. Candidates must be available for travel (30% or more) and posses the REQUIRED SKILLS below to be considered. The position will be based in the FICO office located in Bangalore, India. Role/responsibilities:Provide technical leadership in the specification, design, development and deployment of custom software solutions using various FICO products. This individual has the ability to analyze user requirements and Use Cases to transform them into capabilities of the business application. In addition to object-oriented programming skills, a consultant is skilled in business analysis and knowledge acquisition. An integration consultant interacts with clients (both business and technical personnel) on a constant basis. Hence, it is necessary that an Integration Consultant have extremely good communication skills, should be able to listen carefully to clients and facilitate information gathering sessions. Engage with key stake holders, internal and external, to understand the product and user requirements. Generate appropriate design documents, wireframes and other forms of documentation to clearly represent the solutions being created. Work with other development team members to allow them to implement the designs, including design and code reviews. Implementation and coding of solutions. Generate unit tests and other testing strategies to ensure the products are being tested thoroughly to produce quality products. Tech lead should have the ability to manage teams of 8-10. Experience Requirements:(3-4 years for Developers, 5-7 years of experience for Sr. Developer and 8 to 12 years of experience for Lead Developer/Tech Lead): Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design Very strong in Core Java Strong knowledge of OutSystems platform or any other agile development tools/methodologies Knowledge of Originations Domain (at least involved in 2 Origination projects) Good knowledge of JQuery/JavaScript and CSS XML (XML processing and Concepts), XSLT, Ajax and Web Services Very strong Knowledge of JBOSS Good Experience in relational database design on Oracle/SQL Server and good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL Knowledge in JSF, spring and Hibernate. Enterprise application design and development in Java/J2EE technologies (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB 3, JMS, JPA, JUnit) Strong knowledge of SCRUM and Agile methodologies Process knowledge e.g. managing and tracking requirements, Design, etc Excellent communication skills. Good English (written and spoken) Communication and Documentation skills, (MS-Office, Visio) Experience in leading team of 10 to 15 developers, hands on and provide technical leadership to the team (For Leads) Good to have: Candidates with project experience in Credit Decisioning projects, Originations, Scorecard Analysis or with other vendor products (Loan Origination systems) will be advantageous Knowledge of multiple application servers and middleware products such as Web Logic, MQ Series, TIBCO, Tivoli, WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and WebSphere Process Server/WID Maven or Ant Experience with large database and transactional systems is preferred Experience in either the Financial or Insurance Industry is preferred,
