Job Description

What Youll DoThe Secure Policy and Access (SPA) team in Cisco is looking for talented individuals to build the next generation suite of services for the Intent Based Network that enables enhanced control of the wired and wireless network in both on-prem and cloud environment with near real time actionable views across the network, security, device, user and applicationsIn this position you would be responsible for the Quality Assurance, Automation and Performance/Scale Engineering and Testing in a distributed development team in a highly automated Agile environmentWho Youll Work WithThe identity services evolution team is a group of high energy, customer focused engineers who bring diverse perspectives and experiences to bear on the toughest engineering challenges.Who You Are

  • MS/BS in computer science or engineering.
  • 7+ years of software testing experience in network and endpoint security, complex test automation, automation library design.
  • Experience in testing large scale cloud-based or distributed enterprise applications using micro-services.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up test beds with virtual machines and network equipments e.g. routers/switches. CCNA certification is a plus.
  • Strong automation expertise in Python and Shell scripting.
  • Front-end web application test automation (e.g. Selenium WebDriver) and REST API testing experience
  • Industry best practices in SW testing methodologies UT/IT, Performance, Scale, TDD/BDD etc
  • Proactive, Passion for learning and self-improvement
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
