Job Description

As an Application developer you will be responsible for handling technical and functional deliverables for the above mentioned environments predominantly from development and QA perspective.Responsibilities:

  • Pick up functional knowledge /data flows of the DAC risk applications and contribute effectively to build /unit test, create/execute test plans /cases for the projects.
  • Impact assessment for the enhancements/new projects to arrive accurate estimates and help management team in arriving a good delivery schedule
  • Help business analysis teams and business owners to take right decision on Analysis tasks.
  • Help Operate (production support) team in resolving critical / L3 tasks to closure.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years experience in Informatica
  • 1 year in Java/J2EE will be added advantage
  • Knowledge on ETL and working exposure on data integration and data warehousing projects
  • Knowledge on banking domains will be an added advantage
  • Expertise in working with Agile projects and exposure to automated testing / dev ops kind of environments.
  • Very strong analytical skills and good knowledge in SQL with ability to gain expertise in new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Graduate or above degree in Engineering
  • Informatica development experience with very good exposure in handling ETL development projects preferably in Banking and Finance domains.
  • Experience in understanding requirements and converting them to saleable and repeatable design and building strategies.
  • Good working knowledge using Oracle and experience in creating/maintaining scalable database load process using ETL.
  • Exposure on shell scripting, knowledge on UNIX environments and skills to analyze and debug complex shell scripts is desirable for the role.
  • Understanding on datawarehouse and ETL and batch integration knowledge would be an additional plus.
