The team offers an opportunity to work on a wide array of technologies and challenging technical problems. This role will involve ideating, designing, developing, testing and support along with end to end ownership of new functional offerings and improvements and modernization of our existing solutions.The team seeks a Senior Mobile Application Developer who will be responsible for leading the mobile application aspects of medium to large scale technology projects, focused on delivering the best experience for our clients.Required Qualifications and attributesBachelors Degree in an engineering field, with a minimum of 8 years experience in Software Development and 5 years or more as an Android developerExcellent analytical and communication skills with an ability to communicate complex technical topics in an easy to understand manner.Excellent track-record in building maintainable mobile applications with high user experience quotientAbility to work with multiple globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across regionsKey ResponsibilitiesConcurrently participate in multiple technology projects from concept to implementation, and through all phases of the software development lifecycle.Willing to take the initiative to research and learn emerging technologies that may improve the quality, success, and performance of deliverables.Engage with business/analysts to convert mobile requirements into technical designWork with architects and UX folks on reviewing and streamlining the mobile designDevelopment responsibilities of new functions and capabilities on the mobile platformFollow and promote Agile practices like SCRUM and TDD/BDD.Train and mentor developers across functional areas within the group on Android developmentActive involvement in resolving the issues encountered in all environments, including production.Complete development assignments on time with an appropriate level of quality to support project efforts.Hands-on Technical ExpertiseJava and/or Kotlin for building Android applicationsWell-versed in integrating mobile applications with backend components/microservicesExperienced in optimizing code for mobile devicesExperienced in automated regression testing frameworks for AndroidExperienced in application security aspects and publishing workflows to standard storesFamiliarity with Git, Maven and Jenkins,
