Amazon s transportation systems delivers millions of packages to customers worldwide faster and cheaper while providing world-class customer experience from checkout to shipment tracking to delivery. Our software systems include services that handle tens of thousands of requests per second and make decisions to pay billions of dollars a year. Our mission is to abstract financial complexities from logistics world and vice versa.Invoicing Platform within TFS is responsible for generation and ingestion of accurate and compliant invoices in a timely manner. With the expansion of gig economy models and the digitization of taxation laws globally, we have an opportunity to serve a new set of customers ranging from individuals to MNCs working alongside Amazon. We achieve this by building highly scalable, multi-tenant platform components which can be re-used across clients and geographies.In a nutshell, we provide compliant, flexible and scalable invoicing solutions for our wide range of customers.What will you own You will own a 14-16 member team to build a brand new invoicing solution. Building these capabilities for 1000s of service providers spanned across globe needs the passion to Innovate and Think big. You find innovative ways to ingest financial documents from diverse set of service providers with varying scaling factors. You monitor the business critical KPIs and use technology to improve those with tactical and strategic initiatives. You build and own systems that process tens of thousands of requests per second, while maintaining the highest quality. You will have sound technical acumen, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and hire, build, and develop your team.,
    • 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
    • 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
    • Experience in partnering with product and program management teams
    • Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
    • Experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
    • Experience in re-architecting high scale software
