Site Reliability and Cloud Ops Engineer job in Bengaluru, KA, India at WorkSpan At WorkSpan we believe in providing our customers with the best possible product and experience. We have built our infrastructure in the cloud and as our Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical part in the continued successful growth of WorkSpan. In this role, youll work collaboratively with software engineers and architects to manage the reliability and availability of our systems. You will design and develop automation software to monitor applications, tune systems, build and deploy software, measure and improve the performance of applications. You will get to work with cutting-edge technologies that are defining the future of the cloud including Docker, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform. Your Responsibilities:

• Designing and architecting reliable, highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure for executing WorkSpan Application in Google cloud Azure.
• Developing tools and scripts to automate application deployment monitoring.
• Creating operation reports for the WorkSpan application, and the website.
• Monitoring Application and cloud infrastructure for load, performance, cost, errors, traffic and security threats.
• Analyzing and improving performance by utilizing data to monitor system behavior, loads (e.g. CPU utilization, IO load, execution profile, etc.)
• Managing data backups.
• Designing and developing continuous integration pipeline by using Jenkins
• Identifying and developing tools for improving engineering and operations efficiency.
• Managing Source Code repository, branching.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in our development, test and production environments.
• Design and develop tools to build, deploy software, scale, and monitoring using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience of working on cloud-based SaaS applications, AWS cloud, Azure cloud or Google Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages - Shell or Python. Experience with Python is a plus.
  • Expertise with containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, GKE)
  • Experience of working with Relational Databases` and NO-SQL databases (such as Cloud Data Store, MongoDB, Cassandra), writing SQL queries for analyzing data
  • Experience with managing source code using git.
  • Experience with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Experience with Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins
  • Understanding of security, network management, load balancing
  • Bachelor or Master s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 4+ years DevOps engineering experience.
