Job Role Responsibilities
Storage System administrator act as the central point for Design, infrastructure and other teams for guidance around storage technologies.
Provide specialist and technical expertise to other storage members
In conjunction with the Team Leader, undertake local supervision, such as attendance monitoring and allocate task and workloads for the local team members
Work on daily tickets and operations
Support tasks Follow the SLAs to resolve any production issues
Ready to work in rotational 24 x 7 support and provide on-call support when it s required Work location would be Bangalore
Multi-skilled and be able to support existing and future infrastructure/support requirements
Continuous professional development to keep the skills up to date ensuring appropriate coverage to meet with customer/engagement long term plan
Should be willing to learn associated tools technologies (multi-skilling) and contribute towards the services improvements
Contribute towards developing current Infrastructure by taking ownership of new projects as and when required
Should have good experience in creating SOPs, training team members on new technologies

Must Have knowledge Experience
9 to 12 years of relevant experience in storage and Backup Core knowledge on EMC Unity 560F and Unity 450F Management software Storage Grid NAS and SAN EMC knowledge SAN Brocade/Cisco troubleshooting FC routing knowledge/ Virtual Fabrics
Ability to work on Heterogenous environment Data Fabric SAN/NAS storage, RAID concepts and disk management tools
Good knowledge on storage snapshots and remote replication
Good to have knowledge Experience Knowledge on EMC DD6800, Quantum Scalar, EMC Networker Encryption Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS/AZURE/GCP)
