Job Description

Description

Infoblox is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for testing server software, protocols like DNS, DHCP, and DNS Threat Intelligence Security products. You will report to the Manager, Software Engineering based in Bangalore.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with the best technical and thought leadership team at Infoblox. You will be a part of the team testing massive scale, performance challenges, and maintaining next-generation network actionable intelligence products. You will gain deep expertise in Infobloxs Network Services Appliance product line.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Agile Software Quality Engineering team to validate various features and products in Infoblox NIOS DDI platform
  • Develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools, and automated test suites, in response to the growing feature set and customer requirements
  • Work closely with various cross-functional product teams
  • Work in a fast-paced continuous integration-based engineering environment
  • Anticipate future technology needs and business requirements to drive new technological approaches and tools

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of software testing experience
  • Experience testing networking products like switches, routers, or other appliances
  • Good working experience and knowledge in networking concepts
  • Experience with automation using any scripting language, preferably Python
  • Experience with Jenkins and GIT
  • Knowledge on DNS, DHCP is preferred
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
  • Experience in Agile methodologies with software development life-cycle experience
  • Strong commitment to best practices in SQA, including modern CI processes and automating everything vision
  • Results-oriented and solid work ethic with excellent attention to detail

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in CS, CE, EE or equivalent
  • Master s in CS, CE, or EE is preferred
