With the mission of capturing the biggest market share in the area of cyber security, network security, endpoint security, threat research, malware research, cloud security, we work together for a common goal of shaping the company s future by designing and building best in class cyber security solutions.Role Overview :You will write high- quality Windows kernel and service code to the defined specifications and with a sharp eye on quality and robustness You will write unit and component test code where appropriate to perform automated internal and external validation of the drivers and services you build You will identify and fix bugs quickly, with an eye for quality You will work closely with the encryption product teams in Brighton, UK to build out new features and fix customer escalations You will peer review code changes from other developers on parts of a product source code You will stay current with technology trends & factor this into current design and implementation You will understand the big picture, take initiative to solve the problem and identify opportunities for refactoring About the role : 8+ years of experience in designing and developing Windows kernel filter drivers, other classes of Windows kernel drivers and Windows services Low- level development engineer who is well versed with design and development close to the hardware layer on Windows systems Demonstrable experience of kernel development Requires strong programming skills in C/ C++ Demonstrable experience of kernel debugging using tools like WinDbg Should have excellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills Must be an excellent problem solver, creative thinker and self- motivated Good to have knowledge of computer networking, protocols and software security Preferable to have experience in continuous delivery environment using test driven development Prior experience working on software security products is a plus Company Benefits and Perks:Our corporate culture and values are central to McAfee s philosophy.
