Job Description

As a Senior Associate L2 in Data Engineering at Publicis Sapient, you will play a crucial role in translating client requirements into technical designs and implementing components for data engineering solutions. Utilizing deep expertise in data integration and big data design principles, you will develop custom solutions or implement package solutions. You will independently lead design discussions to ensure the overall solutions robustness.Your Skills & Experience:
• Experience: 5 to 9 years overall, with a minimum of 4 years in Big Data technologies.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack (HDFS, Sqoop, Kafka, Pulsar, NiFi, Spark, Spark Streaming, Flink, Storm, Hive, Oozie, Airflow) and other components essential for building end-to-end data pipelines. Working knowledge of real-time data pipelines is advantageous.
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in at least one of Java, Scala, or Python; Java proficiency preferred.
• Data Platforms: Practical experience with NoSQL and MPP data platforms like HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra, AWS Redshift, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and GCP BigQuery.
• Cloud: Well-versed in data platform-related services on Azure.
• Education: Bachelors degree with 6 to 8 years of work experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties required.
