Job Description

    Alstom RSC Development India is key train and component development site with vision to become strategic center to achieve more than 40% of global engineering hours. The Shared Engineering Center in India has critical mission to enable Alstom RSC Development and services product lines achieve this vision and thereby help all global sites to achieve the project delivery performance (GR on time, OTIF and RFT). Alstom India shared engineering center has target to achieve 2.4M hours of development work per annum.Manage and organise Engineering Activities for the Internal sites across the world Understand the S&OP workload data for sites and work with sites and India RSC Development metiers to o actualise planned SEC To India workload & o Identify opportunities to internalise site metier overload to India Submit the proposal and obtain the internal Purchase Order to start the activity Manage the delivery as per initial commitment in strong collaborative way Build strong partnership with Alstom Sites by driving dedicated India collaboration roadmap agenda and achieve expected outcomes working with India and site metier stakeholders. Create a strong collaboration between Indian entities and all the development centres of the company Resolve the conflict at working level before escalation Achieve the Target set by Alstom by transferring work under different platform, product, project Achieve the target of BCC strategy for the company Establish strong governance working with internal sites and ensure that all open issues/actions are tracked and resolved in a time bound manner. Support and promote innovations and cross pollination of WoWs, process improvements and standardisation of workpackages working with different stakeholders.Network & Links Region Sites management committee and other department leaders Central Engineering (e. g. Engineering Performance, Methods & Tools, PLM, Engineering Quality and Planning) All Engineering centre and Development sites of the company for Rolling Stock and ComponentsPerformance Measurement/KPI s SED dashboard: OTIF, DR on-time, workload target, forecast and actual hours, right first time, budget adherence, PO and Invoices on-time.Accountable for: EHS in engineering Respect of engineering processes, tools and methods Supporting and promoting innovationsResponsible for: Development and operationalisation of SEC dashboard covering following KPIs o SEC TO actualisation vs target by site, region and metiers o Input OTIF, Output OTIF, RFT & budget adherence Tracking open noncompliance topics on SEC WoW and process o Kick off meeting (pending backlog control and quality of KOMs) o SEC Tracker (input OTIF, Output OTIF and RFT KPIs) o Pending POs and invoices with sites Maintenance of EDU level SEC performance dashboard to get bottom up QCD performance alerts Develop strong alter mechanism for various non compliance topics and ensure thatKnowledge & Experience : Graduate in engineering with >5 year s experience in engineering Awareness/experience in engineering project management and delivery management is desired. Strong data analytics skills and ability to drive right inferences from data and its application to actual issues/routines.
