Network & Links:The IS&T organization, led by our CITO is composed of 5 pillars. This position is based under the Business Solutions pillar which is led by our VP Business Solutions. This pillar oversees global architecture of IT solutions, as well as deploying, maintaining and managing their innovation. Within this Business Solutions, the ERP Program Director is in charge of the ERP tower. The ERP tower is responsible for the design, project execution and operations of ERP and its applicative landscape. The Functional Core Team Manager s team is composed of the core team which is divided into the 5 functional domains: Accounting, Controlling, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations and Quality. You will be reporting to the Purchasing Stream lead under this organization and you will be integrated in the Purchasing team with which you will work in close collaboration. Purchasing stream is in charge of the core model regarding sourcing and procurement processes. Therefore, you will contribute to the execution of ERP release, the pre-studies and execution of roll-out projects, L3 support activities. In addition, the person in this position will be expected to bring continued improvements to ensure our solution s stability and maintaining documentation. This position is based in Bangalore, however due to the location of all stakeholders, there is the possibility of punctual travels to France and other Alstom sites. You will be integrating an international team and will need to work closely with them. For this, the knowledge of English language is a must.OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:The Purchasing stream is composed of two business activities: sourcing and procurement. The purchasing solution expert s role is to ensure that the solutions for these business activities follow the defined core model. This includes ERP solution as well as non-ERP solutions like external portal solutions. You will need to interact with internal and external stakeholders. In order to respond to our increased number of sites, which is a result of our accelerated deployment roadmap, we are looking for a SAP MM expert to integrate our team. You will keep growing inside this team and improve your skills and capabilities to become more and more autonomous.RESPONSIBILITIES:As an ERP functional expert, you are in charge of:Ensuring that ERP logistics Core Model (Solution + processes & rules) is well documented, evolves consistently and is not jeopardized by localizationSupporting ERP Roll-out, ensuring that Core Model is appliedEnsuring IS landscape consistency logistics domainDelivering ERP logistics Core Model evolution in accordance with M tier strategyInteracting with Operations teams by monitoring their activities & providing functional expertise when neededIn order to be able to execute all the responsibilities above, you will be working with our external partners. In addition, you will be constantly liaising between partners and local business in order to drive the different projects successfully. When it comes to our applicative landscape, you will be working not only with partners and business but also with other IS&T teams in other pillars. Your functional expertise will be needed in order to deliver the different projects with high quality and on time. Your Functional scope contains following business processes:Stock, non-stock, & services purchasingSourcing and Procurement Master Data managementScheduling agreementsRelease managementSubcontractingConsignmentQualifications & Skills:BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:You are a SAP solution analyst with already a solid experience on sourcing and purchasing flows through SAP MM module. You are action-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are a self-starter and result-oriented person with willing to improve your skills and keep growing-up. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are a must because you will need to work autonomously in a worldwide & multicultural environment. You should be agile to handle multiple tasks efficiently, keeping the big picture, and effectively delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE Language skills: English expertise is a must both spoken and written.Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have more than 3 years of experience in SAP-ERP solutions.A strong knowledge of SAP MM modules, with a particular focus on the following objects and processes :

  • Purchasing flows involving following objects : purchase info records, purchase request, RFQ, outline agreement, purchase order, scheduling agreement

  • SAP customizing for Purchasing part
  • Test case & Integration test
  • SAP OSS support call
  • Incident and defect management
