Job Description

Candidate should play a key role in Data Quality Rules Requirement, Development and Issue management activities. Candidate will be leading the conversations with multiple key stakeholders to identify the business requirements and develop Data quality rules using data quality tools. Candidate will also be evaluating / developing proof of concepts for alternative Data quality solutions.The successful candidate will specifically:

  • Work with business data stewards to develop and document business rules for data quality and convert business rules into Technical Rules
  • Perform business requirements analysis on business rules and documents associated with population and extraction of data from the warehouse.
  • Create estimates for all data quality activities, including analysis, development, and testing, and communicate to project team.
  • Create and update mapping documents and data load validation rules.
  • Develop and execute data quality test plans, mappings, and workflows to ensure accuracy of data loads and extracts.
  • Develop and execute data quality scorecards or dashboards, notification, and exception escalation processes.
  • Document all logic and data quality issues, work to resolve issues, and report progress on issue resolution to management
  • Devise improvements to current procedures and develop methods for increasing efficiency, accuracy, and performance of data quality solutions.
  • Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements to upstream processes where data quality issues exist.
  • Drive Technical initiatives within the team, developing new proof of concepts on Data quality solutions.
The candidate must be a highly-motivated individual and must be able to handle a high volume of diverse work, be able to deal with and work through ambiguity, be flexible enough to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with a fast-paced, priority-driven environment.Qualifications:
  • Total years of work experience not greater than 8 years.
  • Between 4 6 years of Data Integration, Data Analysis and Data Management experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Data mapping, Data analysis, Data profiling is a MUST
  • High level of expertise in Advanced SQL, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts.
  • Should have Development experience in Python Technical skill set in any AI / ML concepts using Python are desirable, with a mindset of designing new solutions.
  • Expertise over Data Quality Rules development and Root cause Analysis is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in Data Quality tools. Ab Initio is Preferable.
  • Must have an understanding of concepts and components related to Data Management, such as Data Architecture, Data Models, Data Lineage, Data Dictionary, Controls etc.
  • Hands-on experience in framing up Complex SQL Queries involving Data Analytical functions
  • Hands-on experience in preparing/integrating the datasets to match to the Data Quality and reporting requirements
  • Bachelor s degree required; concentration in IT, CS preferred.
