Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The incumbent will be analyzing various reports, procedures, and output of the Portfolio Management (PM) team s actions, to determine compliance with procedures during these activities
  • The incumbent will test processes for the PM team related to annual loan reviews, systems use, vendor delivered inspections and any other process designated for testing
  • They will partner with team-members and managers to communicate areas of concern, escalate areas where training is needed, and will participate in process improvement projects in response to testing results.
Essential Job Functions
  • Review portfolio management inspection source documents and compare the information from those documents to data in PM systems to perform QC of all vendor generated inspections
  • Utilize multiple exception reports to test processes for the Portfolio Management team in order to track quality, provide feedback and document test results
  • Complete Quality Control Reviews in QIP Database or SharePoint lists, ensuring data in the system of record is accurate and complete
  • Demonstrate the ability to function in a joint, cooperative manner; share information with co-workers and peers and support department and team plans, programs and policies
  • Perform special projects and assignments as directed, including working with teams assigned to larger initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree with 1-3 years of financial services, audit, accounting control, regulatory, compliance, or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Financial services industry knowledge with regulatory practices, including lending, loan processing, and support operations
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to probe sensitive issues while maintaining the highest levels of integrity and objectivity
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills; accurate and attentive to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work; handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Productivity and flexibility through shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access is a plus
  • Familiarity with CREAM, SMART, ICRD, Ivault, is a plus
  • Understanding of the US Real Estate Market is a strong Positive
