Job Description

    Position Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Sales Manager with a robust background in the biotechnology, diagnostics, or healthcare sectors, focusing specifically on oncology. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in sales and a deep understanding of medical oncology, capable of effectively interacting with oncologists to promote our innovative range of genetic tests, including NGS-based diagnostics, and AI/ML technologies.Responsibilities and Duties:Direct and manage sales forecasting activities; set and evaluate performance goals tailored to individual sales territories.Allocate and manage annual sales forecasts across territories, consistently monitoring and reporting on progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.Hire, train, and retain high-performing sales staff, providing ongoing developmental support and coaching to enhance team capabilities.Engage actively with medical oncologists, explaining and promoting the adoption of the companys genomic tests to be prescribed on a regular basis.Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, including specialty doctors and oncologists, introducing them to the range of genetic tests and their clinical relevance.Drive revenue growth through referrals from medical professionals, ensuring a deep understanding of the products among the healthcare community.Develop institutional collaborations with hospitals to enhance test adoption and integrate genomic diagnostics into standard patient care practices.Required Skills and Expertise:Bachelors degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or scientific background in molecular biology or genetics highly preferred.A proven sales background of at least 5 years in the Diagnostics/Pharma/Healthcare industry with a specific focus on oncology.Demonstrable experience in meeting and engaging with medical oncologists in previous roles.Strong verbal and written communication abilities; proficiency in explaining complex scientific concepts and fostering understanding among diverse audiences.Exceptional problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and a self-driven, motivated professional demeanor.Excellent people management skills; ability to develop relationships, manage and service accounts, and lead a team to achieve ambitious sales targets.Strong analytical and strategic planning skills; adept at new business development, business planning, and achieving market penetration.Excellent command of regional languages and proven ability to initiate and manage institutional collaborations with hospitals and healthcare facilities.
