  • Should be able to plan & execute any DevOps projects with minimal or no support
  • Amazon Web Services operation, maintenance, implementation and design
  • Monitor system performance and make recommendations to improve and implement system-wide changes to enhance overall system proficiency
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Respond to tickets within team defined Service Level Objectives
  • Work closely with various application support and engineering teams
  • Develop/Integrate tools for system monitoring and change/deployment automation
Key Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Linux Hands-on working experience in building DevOps platform in private AWS cloud
  • Strong experience with managing and setting up native AWS services
  • AWS Networking:
PPTP & AWS VPN site-to-site configuration & communicationAWS NetworkingSubnet, DNS, Security group, VPC, routing, etc.
  • Automating the IT infrastructure using Docker containers and building Code as an Infrastructure using Kubernetes (Eg: Terraform)
  • Application Monitoring & Logging tools (Eg: Instana, PagerDuty, SumoLogic etc)
  • Familiar with one or more DevOps/IT Operation Tools like:
Code management and build tools (Eg : Git/GitLab/Maven/.)Continuous integration tools (Eg : Jenkins/Nexus/Jfrog/.)Configuration/Deployment tools (Eg: Ansible/Chef/)
  • Exposure to setup and configurations related to ElasticSearch,Kafka, Memcache, DB etc.
  • Deployment of applications: Scala, Java, JS, Python, NodeJS, SFDC, etc.
  • Good with at least one scripting language: Shell, Python, etc.
  • Hands-on working experience in monitoring websites and making recommendations to stabilize or improve the applications.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders in the engineering & product management team to identify and resolve issues
  • Demonstrate expertise in Agile/Kanban software development methodology
  • Strong written and verbal communication
