Leadership positions in America, U.K., Continental Europe, Asia, and JapanAbout the Role and projectAs an Applications Developer, you will participate in all facets of the development cycle for JPMAAMs Performance Measurement and Attribution application. This includes design, analysis, development, coding, testing and documentation. You will partner closely with business partners and the broader JPMAAM technology team. You will ensure your work products adhere to coding, architectural, and security standards as defined throughout Asset Management. A successful candidate must have relevant UI ReactJS development experience.Key Responsibilities: Build front-end user interfaces to spec with an excellent eye for design and usabilityDeveloping using flexible and extensible UI module integrated with Web API s and messaging (REST, JSON etc.). Experience with web services and API integrationUser responsive Web development, Node.js, client side framework React JS is mustDesign, analyze, develop, unit testing (TDD) and regression automation (BDD) to deliver product backlog for large and complex projects.Adopting and practicing Agile methodologies including, but not limited to, story grooming, sprint planning, complexity analysis, standup calls, and sprint retrospectives.Adhere to firm-wide architecture standards, risk management and security policies.Team player and ability to work in Global Team setup, product owners and business team to develop, build & support application.Communicate and collaborate on development items with global team, as well as raise/work to resolve issues impacting development.Post Production application supportWork on multiple projects both independently and with other developersSpot potential pitfalls and communicate them effectivelyExperience as a UI developer for mobile and webExperience solving complex UI challenges and creating wireframesDemonstrated expertise in responsive user interface design for the web and/or mobile platformsWell-versed in fundamental visual and interactive design disciplines and principles.Understanding of UI development capabilities and constraintsExperience in HTML5/CSS3, Angular, Ionic framework and JavaScriptComfort in a fast-paced, highly-dynamic environment with multiple stakeholdersStrong visual and user-focused design skills and an eye for detailExcellent collaboration and communication skillsExperience in data visualization and analytics a plusExperience in user research and usability testing a plusExperience in developing A/B testing and campaign optimization a plusBroader visual design experience a plusStrong portfolio of UI and digital workQualificationsBachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceMinimum 4-7 years of hands-on experience with UI technology Node.js, React JS, Angular JS, HTML5, JavaScriptTesting frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, Protractor etc.Working knowledge of Tomcat/Apache application serversKnowledge of standard build and deployment tools such as Eclipse, Maven, Git/Stash, Ant, and JiraAbility to balance application development and application support needsProven ability to work with a project team to develop a strategy, technical solution, and ultimately to implement high quality technical solutionsGood communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences that include peers, product owners, and other stakeholdersPreferably Financial Services Domain knowledge - Equity/Fixed Income Product Knowledge, Securities Trade and Position Management, Reconciliation knowledgeDesirable (but not essential):Experience in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hadoop or any other Cloud technologiesPerson Specification:Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholdersMust be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resourcesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
