Job Description

  • Position Summary:
  • Understand technical requirements of customer tenders / enquiries; Pre-engineer / Validate best suited technical configuration including accessories to ensure technical compliance to the technical specifications at Pre-Bid stage. Coordinate with Global Product Management teams for technical queries.
  • Ensure all Accessories and other technical requirements like power supply, Air-conditioning, Gases, Piping & Plumbing etc. are considered at the time of bidding based on actual Lab conditions in order to avoid commissioning delays and / or margin erosion during execution phase.
  • Prebid support to Commercial teams by demonstrating product capabilities of XPS systems from Technical / Hardware perspective to prospective customers; Participate in Pre-finalization technical meetings.
  • Analyze samples of the prospective customers and provide them the sample analysis report. Coordinate with Global Application teams for technical queries.
  • Coordinate with Global teams and the customers in post sales technical meetings and arranging drawing approvals from customer as per tender requirements.
  • Provide technical and hardware diagnostic support to Service teams as required to identify Field Service and Parts needs in order to ensure high first time right and resolution time performance
  • Provide onsite application training by analyzing samples from customers during the time of commissioning or as per the agreement of the purchase.
  • Be the flag bearer for technical product know-how and ensure adequate levels of technical expertise in commercial and service teams; Maintain repository of Technical Manuals and Documentation
