JOB DESCRIPTIONDesignation: Process Control LeadJob Location: BangaloreReporting to:Job Grade:The CompanySyngene International Ltd. As a Process Control Lead, you will be responsible for leading the integration and optimization of operational data and systems across the enterprise, driving digital transformation and industry 4.0 initiatives, and overseeing engineering processes and projects.Key Responsibilities:

  • IT-OT Integration: Lead the implementation and governance of Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) projects, integrate operational data with enterprise applications like SAP. Previous experience in IT platforms such as SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM) and Project System (PS), MAXIMO, or e-procurement platforms like ARIBA is desirable (Any One).
  • Operational data management: Standardize, contextualize, and visualize operational technology (OT) data according to business needs. Lead digital and analytics projects with IT and provide process insights.
  • Process SME: Manage and apply the changes related to operational data. Drive the transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives for manufacturing processes like equipment efficiency improvement, control key process parameters etc.
  • Project Management: Lead software development projects by defining the business requirements with IT stakeholders, setting clear goals and timelines.
  • System Optimization: Improve the reliability and performance of internal systems and processes, suggest strategic improvements for future manufacturing processes.
Engineering Oversight: Maintain and enforce engineering processes of Level 1-Level 0 equipment, project tracking methods, and safety compliance standards.Requirements:
  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in engineering design, procurement, and project management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert in SAP-PM, PS, MM/ARIBA/Ivalua, and MAXIMO, OT data knowledge with process historians like Aspentech/OSIPI and strong analytical and digital transformation skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Technology Leadership: Skilled at managing technology projects and executing digital strategies.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and value chain integration, including supply chain management and manufacturing plant solutions relating to MES, BMR and IIoT will be added advantage
  • Familiarity with core manufacturing processes and how IT supports them (e.g., Lean principles, automation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education and ExperienceEducationBachelors in mechanical/electrical and equivalent disciplines.Industry Experience18 years of experience in managing and controlling the manufacturing processes relating production, operations and safety applying operational technologies like IIoT, Integration of L0-L3 industrial equipments for process data configuration, standardization and exchange with enterprise applications.Technical Skills
  • SAP, Process Historians (PI/Aspentech), IO modules of equipments etc.,
  • Operational data visualization through BI platforms like PowerBI or equivalent
  • Microsoft SQL Server or any similar database knowledge.
  • Expertise in middle ware IIoT devices (sensors, machines) and their communication protocols with IT applications
  • Knowledge in adapters and connectors specifically designed to manage integrations of manufacturing applications with ERP or other business applications
