Business facing finance team supporting Partner finance for APJ region.Job Description -TAX ANALYST (Grade 8)
• providing vital support related to the area of indirect tax compliance, specifically related to India.
• will be responsible for the preparation and filing of the India GST returns for multiple registrations of various Cisco India entities.
• The candidates will have to be able to analyse, interpret data and prepare reconciliation reports to drive the compliance activity.
• The candidates will also have to assist in tax audits for Cisco India entities, including liaison with service provider
• Support various IT improvement projects and lead automation relation initiatives
• Work with internal tax/finance/accounting colleagues on end-to-end processes.
• Support, implementing and standardizing tax compliance processes.
The Candidates should have broad knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP/India GAAP and its application; understand the inter dependencies of tax compliance, financial accounts and other cross functions activities. Have a flexible demeanour as the team further expands and tackles additional roles and responsibilities. The candidates will have cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to adapt and learn independently in the team-oriented and innovation-focused culture of the Cisco enterprise.This is a great opportunity for the right persons to expand their experience and hone their skills in a global organization that offers a broad horizon for career advancement.Preferred candidate for the role:
• A Bachelor s / Master s degree with 7 8 years of work experience with at least 5 years relevant experience in Taxation domain.
• Should possess sound knowledge on In-direct tax law, including GST & should have prior experience in handling In-direct tax compliances of a large multinational organization with minimum supervision.
• A working knowledge of Direct Tax preferred but optional.
• should possess sound knowledge of RPA automation / BOTS.
