Job Description

  • Project Role :SW/Application Tech Support Practitioner
  • Project Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.
  • Must Have Skills :NAS Architecture and Design
  • Good To Have Skills :Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design
      • Key Responsibilities : 1- Resource has to work on Tiered storage allocation and re-allocation to effectively use cache 2- Resource is responsible to to plan and share the LUNs across multiple hosts while preventing any data loss 3-Resource has to work on Configuration and support of NDMP backups between a Netapp and third party backup products, vServer SVM, inode management
      • Technical Experience : 1-Having sound hands on experience NetApp C-mode administrators SAN/NAS - experienced in managing Ontap , having 4-6 years of experience 2-Very strong knowledge in RAIDs, Storage Topalogy protocals 3-Experienced in Storage Firmware upgrades; and planned maintenance 4-Very good at hardware compatibility matrix while connecting any specific hosts/hba 5-Experienced in Zoning and Masking; both at Storage and SAN fabrics Cisco 6-Experience in Aggregate, Volume, Qtree and LUN management
      • Professional Attributes : 1-Strong verbal and written communication skills 2-ready to work in 24/7 environmen
      • Educational Qualification : bachelor degree in engineering
    • Additional Information : 1-Good to have relavent certification
