Line of Business:Position:Murex MXML DeveloperProject DescriptionWeve been engaged by a large Australian company to provide resources to their Murex development team working on a wide range of projects from CTB changes and regulatory engagements, to binary upgrades.We require an experienced MxML developer with strong knowledge of Murex and broad exposure to financial markets.You will be working in a team of Murex Developers on a variety off tasks.Initial project would be squad based delivery of binary upgrade for MX 3.1.36-3.1.42. Everyone will be part of a specific squad, responsible for end to end test/defect fix/support for a specific part of the functionality.There will be 4 squads, 3 of which will have Offshore resources: - Trade Insertion, Simulations, Events (2 offshore; 6 onsite)- Post Trade, Reporting, Accounting (2 offshore; 6 onsite)- Interfaces, Market Data (2 offshore, 7 on site)- Technical Components (3 on site)ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of planned changes ranging from small CTB type tasks to large bank-wide projects.Technical Analysis of changes, solution design, development and unit testingParticipate in fixing production and test defectsEnd to end ownership of tasks in cooperation with Business Analysts and Testing team.You will be assisting in a wide-ranging number of projects, from regulatory risk, to binary upgrades to validating small enhancements from the Continuous Build teamSkillsMust- 5+ years of Murex Development experience- Minimum 3 Years of Murex MxML experience on 3.1- Outstanding MxML workflow and formulae development- Advanced SQL- Good general financial market understanding- Basic pretrade- UnixNice to have- Good Java experience, especially integrating Java code in MxML- Pretrade experience around generating hedge deals for FX-Cash- DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc)- Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership- Binary upgrade experience- Experience with FXCash, FX Derivatives, CommoditiesLanguagesSpecialization,
