Job Description

*Description & Job Responsibilities:We are looking for highly motivated and skilled DevOps engineer to help us design & develop tools for building & installing software for complex systems at our R&D Division in Bangalore, India. This role is to work closely with our counterparts in Germany to define and implement bots, maintain CI/CD pipelines, develop scripts for automated tests, tools for building, installing software, software development/release infrastructure, controls for tools, documentation processes.

  • Design and develop tools for building and installing software for complex systems
  • Drive improvements to the software development/release infrastructure, controls for tools, documentation processes.
  • Maintain the continuous integration infrastructure, including nightly builds and automated tests.
  • Configure and Maintain Static Code Analysis Tools.
  • Develop scripts that automate the tool deployment process at a system level where feasible.
  • Execute automated scripts, troubleshoot failures and log tool defects.
  • Maintain build and release system and provide hot fix to the automated Jenkins pipeline.
  • Integrating with builds & test cases with Nvidia-docker for CI process.
, *Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream.
  • 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Software Configuration Management (SCM) activities, CI/CD activities in a DevOps Environment.
  • Experience on Continuous Integration set up and configuration on various platforms.
  • Experience on different flavours of Linux and shell/Groovy scripting.
  • Experience on setting up build and release process based on the project requirements.
Skills:
  • Great communication skills.
  • Experience with scripting in Python/shell, for development of tools and automation scripts, highly desired.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Saltstack (Django Framework) etc).
  • Experience with Monitoring tools (M/Monit & Prometheus)
  • Experience with any Git based tool preferred Gerrit & Gitlab.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (i.e. Jenkins)
  • Experience with Static and Dynamic Code Analysis Tools highly desired (SonarQube).
