Job Description

Ensure that the Customer/Consumer is put at the heart of proposition development by bringing together all sources of consumer/customer/user feedback and distilling with research clear insights that ultimately lead to growth from the proposition being developed. Brings a strong voice of the consumer/customer/user into the product development, launch and ongoing performance that lead to insight and actions that deliver growth

  • Creates high-quality (real time) consumer, customers and patients insights anticipating market needs in development of solutions
  • Delivery of winning propositions (incl solutions and services) leveraging past learnings and becoming more predictive in driving for winning propositions. Proactively implements digital experimentation & optimization while leveraging Marketing & User data analytics, lowering the dependency on primary research to gain insights (more insight creation than validation or tick the box research)
  • Ensures application of state of the art research & insight tools and technologies and orchestrates implementation of standardized tools to drive for efficiencies, optimization and learnings.
  • Provides insights that support the ongoing development of propositions in accordance with the consumer/customer testing framework
  • Identifying user/customer needs, tensions and potential solutions that address those tensions together with marketers
  • Expert in generating customer insights by immersing in their operations, map patient and treatment journey
  • Familiarity with market and customer research techniques and strong working knowledge of basic analytical tools and sharp predictive skills to work on large amounts of data
  • Familiarity with marketing strategy forces and the structure in the health technology
  • Synthesize sources such as competitive intelligence, pricing, market/industry trends, customer/consumer needs to help inform the development of new propositions or to identify opportunity gaps within the portfolio
  • Spar with Marketers on developing winning propositions, acting as the voice of the consumer/customer/market in shaping the proposition road map
  • Lead primary research into customer/consumer needs using innovative techniques that allow Philips to know the customer/consumer better than anyone else (including foundational / range research)
Bring the voice of the consumer/customer into early ideation/concept generation, value proposition development, launch and ongoing understanding of the propositions performance in the market using all sources of information available
  • Distill fundamental consumer/customer insights that stimulate ideas for growth
  • Seek together with the working team faster, higher quality and more cost effective ways of gaining consumer/customer insight
  • Defines audience, customer, buyer and user need spaces based upon economical, clinical and health economic trends and fore-sighting in close collaboration with MA&F and HEMA and translate this into opportunity spaces and source of business opportunities (incl white spaces) (HS)
  • Supports Portfolio Marketing to identify and understand key audiences and segments across the HS Portfolio
  • Responsible for generating and maintaining the market intelligence database, integrating multiple resources.
  • Takes care of the relation management with the external and internal partners.
  • University degree in marketing management (Master degree) and 12+ year of related experienceand health provider market across the Health Continuum
  • Familiarity with benchmarking market sizes and market opportunity
