Job Description

    As a Manual Test Engineer (QA) will contribute to various phases and activities of the software development process or software testing.Candidate must be willing to work in a fast paced, multi tasking, team environment, the engineer works with Test Lead, scrum master, software engineers, product team and other project stakeholders.Key responsibilities:Should ensure quality of the product is in alignment to the product requirements and it meets the end user expectations.Should be able to develop testcases covering functionality, negative test scenarios, user behaviours, and executing them on different environments.Coordinates and performs basic testing projects from initiation through delivery. Ensures that testing projects are completed on schedule.Should work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software testing life cycle.Create bugs in Test Management tool and track them to closure.Develop in depth system and product knowledge for higher test quality and coverage.Collaborate with relevant team members (BA s, Dev, and QA) to understand product scope.Work closely with the Development, BA, and Business teams to gather and understand use cases for automationMay assist with UAT and alpha testing; may assist multiple customers for product support.Spot areas for improvement to enhance the products efficiency.May assist project in flexible timings based on customer requirements.Skills required:Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Non Functional Testing, API Testing, Agile Methodology, PostmanShould be proficient in test case design, test case development, execution, defect tracking, and performing test execution and finding root cause analysis.Strong experience in different types of testing - Functional and Non functional.Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology is a must.Familiarity with regression and enterprise product testingExperience in API testing and Mobile Testing will be a plus.Experience in Selenium and Core Java is nice to have.Experience in Cross Browser testing is nice to have.Should be good in writing SQL queries and understanding of the APIs.Should be flexible to the changing needs of the project.Should look for ways to prevent bugs from occurring in the first place.Good communications skills both written and verbalLocation- Pune/Indore/Bangalore/GurgaonYrs of Exp-4+Yrs,
