Job Description

    Job summaryThe Financial Analyst will partner with Amazon Devices Finance team (based in the US and Europe, hence has to work in shift timing of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM) and with the broader global business team to support various analytical, planning and reporting needs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced business at Amazon. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage the financial responsibilities of a high-growth business.This position will be responsible for building and managing critical performance indicators and business analyses and requires a candidate with strong project management skills, communication skills, and some technical experience. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in cross-functional teams, and demonstrate strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate must have superior attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.     • Developing and managing improved systems to measure business performance
    • Developing and reporting on financial and operational performance metrics
    • Financial and Non Financial analysis and evaluation of important new business initiatives - Supporting the development of annual operating plan
    • Long and short term financial planning
    • Controllership of monthly financial reporting
    • Partner with the business team to develop new ideas and creative solutions

    • 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Experience interpreting data to make business recommendations
    CA/Bachelor s degree in a business, economics, finance or similar discipline with analytical bias7+ years of FP&A experienceShift Timing- 2:00 PM -11:00 PM (IST)
    • MBA a plus
    • Financial Services Industry experiences a plus
    • Strong leadership and people management skills
    • Knowledge of enterprise financial systems (i.e. Oracle, Red Shift, COGNOS)
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Process improvement experience
    • Superior attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
    • Candidates must also have fluency in standard software including Excel
    • Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated experience in gathering, analyzing and synthesizing business requirements from multiple sources
