Job Description

About the team

The Innovation & Action team is charged with ensuring that there are quality interventions for the underprivileged in the country. You will primarily be working on an exciting initiative at The/Nudge that aims at building and delivering high-quality English products. We are looking for highly energetic, passionate, and high ownership early team members. The team is outcome focussed and committed to ensuring a quality education for youth, and excited about creating English learning interventions that drive positive behaviour and mindset change in adults. You will flourish on this team if you are: collaborative, results-driven, love to continuously improve, and have fun while working hard.

if you

  • Are a graduate in any discipline and a professional with 0-2 years of overall work experience
  • Have taught for at least 1 year with strong evidence of student progress
  • Are a high-performer with a successful track record in taking ownership of tasks end-to-end
  • Can stretch beyond call of duty, fully own your work and be responsible for outcomes
  • Are comfortable travelling for 15-20 days a month to conduct observations and debriefs

At The/Nudge, you will:

  • Manage and support a team of 7-8 trainers in terms of classroom delivery, overall performance etc.
  • Visit partner colleges at regular intervals, training teachers, observing classes and ensuring execution of plans as designed
  • Design training modules for trainers and conduct training sessions.
  • Analyze student progress and working closely with the product and ops teams to make appropriate interventions for improving student learning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with College management and other stakeholders

You need to come with

  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong passion for poverty alleviation and literacy.

It would be awesome if you

  • Have experience of training teachers for at least 1 year
  • Are familiar with the local language (Kannada)
