You will be the Systems Engineer working in a highly-engaged team responsible for building and deploying continues integration and continued delivery capabilities.The team will be working in a DevOps manner, and be empowered to take the lead on the capabilities build out for the product area you as the team is responsible for.We do work in an agile setup, with a product owner, scrum master and engineers as you will be one of. You will be following the wider company s guidelines on how to build out CI/CD capabilities and automate what can be automated. You will be part of the Engineering enablement s engineering teams that have counter parts in both Denmark and United Kingdom. Your will work out of the Bangalore office, and the job might require travel to Maidenhead and Copenhagen.Show More Key responsibilitiesAs a Lead engineer you will work as part of the Engineering Enablement s engineering capability. Engineering enablement builds CI/CD capabilities and automate software delivery processes. We work across many technologies but are centrally founded to align the CI/CD capabilities across the company. Lead by example following the Maersk values Working within the product team to deliver the features with the right quality To do pair programming with people from the team Working with teams to champion and teach DevOps and collaboration Be responsible for the capabilities the engineering team have created Take the engineering lead of the software Drive the CI/CD capabilities toward the wider Engineering Enablement s goals and strategy Drive the right behaviours with in the team, and outside of the team. Communicate with business and stakeholders on all levelsShow More We are looking forA minimum of 9+ years experience as a developer, operations engineer or similar Configuration management tool experience, preferable Ansible and or terraform Scripting experience. Preferable Python, and bash Experience of build and automating CI/CD tools, e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, or other Experience using git Strong linux command line skills Good working knowledge in Docker Good working knowledge on Kubernetes Good working knowledge in Groovy Azure or other cloud knowledge Possible some weblogic experience or other more old-style web containers Know how to do TDD Experience with working on large scale global teams Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements Experience in working within a continues integration and delivery environment Experience working with tools like Jira and confluence Experience working within an agile team Experience in working with people that automates their work Strong believer in automating absolutely everything Can clearly explain the different aspects of DevOps: Strong communication and collaboration skills Very Strong technical mind Know DevOps by heart Know why Tests are important Deep understanding of Agile and DevOps Influence people with the DevOps and Agile understanding Understand current and emerging technologies pertinent to the organization Collaborative Highly motivated and work well under pressure Innovative, with the ability to think outside the box Work with others to understand the present and evolve to future Fact based and outcome oriented Excellent English verbal and written communication is a mustShow More,
