Job Description

    Wipro AI lab is dedicated to AI research, intended to benefit the society and social causes at large. About the Team You will be joining a highly talented AI research team organization. AI research team partners with leading academic institutions and product leads to answer some of the fundamental and applied research questions in AI with huge industry impact. Core Responsibilities: Engage with engineering and business partners to understand requirements and map to research plan for AI initiative within Wipro Develop, collaborate with academia and industry AI research partners, and take ownership of an AI research pillar Performing analysis of cutting-edge AI pipelines and proposing recommendations on how they could be integrated within the Wipro AI ecosystem Handling research-impacting changes gracefully and providing clear and timely communications R&D and prototyping of new AI based technologies. You will be interact with experts in these areas on a regular basis. Required Qualifications You have a Master/PhD degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering You should be able take tough problems in the research domain and shape them towards enterprise applicability. Significant experience working with AI and ML frameworks such TensorFlow, Pytorch, etc. as well as Big Data Technologies such as Spark, streaming technologies and applying large scale Machine Learning techniques within these technologies. Prior experience preparing data for analysis, building AI/ML on large scale platforms, and helping to drive innovation into the cutting-edge AI/ML process/offerings. Knowledge of using AI/ML based various computer vision frameworks such Caffe, OpenCV, SimpleCV, YOLO, and BoofCV. (preferred) Your written communication is clear, and you have the ability to distill sophisticated ideas into accurate and easily understandable takeaways will be keys to your success. Solid understanding of the following technologies: AWS data services Matillion or other ETL/ELT tools Significant experience with modern big data technologies such as Spark, Cassandra, Drill, and related platforms. You are experienced with cloud-based development processes and automation. You have strong instincts and judgment in analyzing requirements You are as comfortable working with git, the command line, and dev environments as you are collaborating with business partners at all levels of seniority to understand their data needs.
