Job Description

We are looking for energetic Junior Project Managers to be part of the Project Management Office to manage a series of small to large scale projects. Responsibilities:

  • Manage Work Requests and small projects throughout the entire project life cycle
  • Have responsibility for delivering Work Request and small projects to agreed (both internal and external) quality, delivery and cost criteria
  • Build and develop relationships within client organisations to enable smooth delivery of small projects and work requests
  • Work closely with Delivery teams to deliver the scope of the agreed projects and work requests to the client.
  • Tracking project and work request progress against proposals
  • Provide a point of escalation for work request and small project related issues (either internally from within the project or externally from the customer)
  • Identify and manage risks to work request project delivery in a formal manner, ensuring that they are well communicated to all stakeholders
  • Provide accurate and timely management information, reporting and forecasting to Senior Project Manager
  • On more complex projects, provide a project plan or work with internal or external Project Manager to create a project plan
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Competencies:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thrives in collaborative environment
  • Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio is essential
  • Knowledge on Project portfolio management (PPM) and related tools
  • MBA graduates with Project Management or IT Management stream
  • PRINCE2 or PMP would be an advantage
