You ll work in a stable, resilient and secure operating environment where you and the products you deliver will thrive.As an Infrastructure support Technician you will be a member of our highly technical production support team, who pro-actively monitors, performs wellness checks and observes the status of File Transfer in the Production and Development environments. You will be focused on the daily goal of meeting established business Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and/or Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for the bank s internal/external customers, through the utilization of the Enterprise monitoring and triage tools provided, with emphasis on problem resolution, root cause investigation, providing second level problem detection, determination and resolution function, vendor engagement, maintenance of event/outage logs and assistance with hardware and software patch/product updates.Internal QualificationsThis role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:Bachelors degree in some Information Systems discipline or 3 year technical degree.1-3+ years of experience in File Transfer SystemsKnowledge of file transfer protocols. Eg: SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, Connect-Direct, FTP-SSL.Understanding of PGP encryption/signature and SSH/SSL keys and certificates.Knowledge of any FTP tools. Eg: Axway Secure Transport Enterprise, TIBCO, IBM Sterling, etc.Knowledge of connectivity failures and troubleshooting methods for FTP issuesBrief idea about DNS, IP, port numbers, Load balancers and similar network conceptsExperience in Netcool/Service Now is preferredAbility to follow policies and procedures; attention to detailStrong problem solving skills and decision making ability around complex problemsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to think creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvementStrong desire and skills in identifying and implementing automation opportunities.Ability to learn and apply technical information in a fast-paced, demanding work environmentEffective listening skillsWork well in a team environmentWhen you work at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you re not just working at a global financial institution.
